trip to los angeles

It's rare we take a trip to a big city, but I always enjoy it when we do. I'm not really sure what it is that attracts me. The buildings, the traffic, the people that seem to be out in droves walking along the busy streets.Maybe it's all the tiny windows in all of those really big buildings and the wondering of what goes on inside that I'm interested in.Urban living isn't something I don't think I could do at this stage in my life, but the idea of living in an apartment in a city building and walking everywhere holds some interest for me. Don't get me wrong, I do love the quiet in my life ... country living definitely has its advantages. City living though just captures me in a different way.Taking an early morning walk in the city, just after sunrise is something I always look forward to doing. This trip wasn’t any different. Jim liked the idea because he was interested in a good cup of coffee. I had found a couple of coffee shops online on our trip down, so we headed out looking for Caffe Bene. The craziest thing was that the coffee shop wasn’t opening until ten! So we walked to the gas station and got him a cup there … and then continued on some of the streets. Not as delicious I'm sure as the cup I got at Caffe Bene once they were open. :)The detail on these buildings was just incredible! We didn’t walk far from our hotel but were able to see some interesting sights. We headed back to our hotel just as the city seemed to be coming to life. Thanks for taking the time to read! I appreciate the interest. :)If you don't already follow along and would like to, just make a short comment and check the 'notify me of new posts' box below.p.s.
